Proceeding to Qaitbay Citadel; The Fort of Qaitbay is a 15th century defensive strongholds on the Mediterranean sea coast, which built in 1477 AD by Sultan Qa'it Bay upon/from the ruins of the Lighthouse of Alexandria. It was an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria during 15th century AD.
