Day 01: Pyramids Day Tour
Morning pickup and transfer to Aswan airport for the flight to Cairo. Start your history filled day visiting Giza Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus, the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple. Then move to Sakkara, part of Memphis necropolis where belived that many of Old Kingdom great reulers are buried, see the Step Pyramids of famous king Zoser before proceeding to Memphis open air museum, it is the first capital of the united ancient Egypt, huge statue of Ramses the 2 nd is the hightlight of the site. End the day then transfer to Cairo hotel for overnight.
Optionally: Sound and Light Show at Giza Plateau or Dinner cruise on the Nile with entertainment.
Day 02: Cairo City Tour
The second day in Cairo starts after breakfast at hotel, then move to the Egyptian Museum, the largest museum hosting endless number of artifacts with the treasures of king Tutankhamen. Continue to the Citadel of Saladdin and the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Proceed to Old Cairo to enjoy visiting the Hanging Church (El Muallaka), one of the oldest churches in Egypt, Abu Serga Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue and end the tour with shopping at Khan El-Khalily bazaars before driving to Cairo airport for flight back to Aswan or your required ending point.
